MONTVILLE – VILLAGE CHARM

FOOD & WINE, SHOPPING, ARTS & CRAFTS

Simple and Stylish, the House on the Hill is a fully renovated modern farmhouse perched on the hill at Montville.  It overlooks paddocks with horses and cows and adjoins 15 ha of rainforest.  The family owner’s long standing commitment to regenerating the rainforest has resulted in this being made a nature refuge.
The house is ideal for a quiet holiday or weekend away with friends or family.

Onsite managers are in the old house just across the paddock. It is perfectly located for nature lovers and bird watchers and is just a short drive from Lake Baroon with its bush walks and picnic spots. Montville with its galleries, shops and restaurants are just 2 km and Maleny and Mapleton another 15 minutes drive.   Guests are welcome to book for dinner or breakfast on weekends in the family’s sister property,  The Spotted Chook,(www.spottedchook.com)  located on the opposite side of the hill.  Group dinner cooked inhouse can also be arranged by booking with the onsite manager.

The Farm has been in the family for around 50 years and has been a holiday retreat for family and friends of the owners who now invite you to share its peace and beauty.
